TEAM FUND RAISING

    The opportunity to travel with our I.T.S. Taekwondo group has massive appeal but equally there are large implications. We are exceptionally keen to extend the travelling opportunities to as many of our I.T.S. members as possible and will be scheduling a number of fund raising activities, if you'd like to assist or even run your own events check out the following web page for ideas!!!

INTERNATIONAL TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIPS - DALLAS, TEXAS - Memorial Weekend MAY 2011

    The proposed Teams are as follows -

    TEAM 1 =     8-11 year old boys and girls green belt and higher. Mixed (5 + 1)

    TEAM 2 =     12-14 year old Black Belts Boys (3 person team x2)

    TEAM 3 =     12-14 year old Black Belt Girls (3 person team x2)

    TEAM 4 =     15-17 year old Black Belt Boys (3 person team x2)

    TEAM 5 =     15-17 year old Black Belt Girls (3 person team x2)

    TEAM 6 =     18-35year old Black Belt Men (5 person team x2)

    TEAM 7 =     18-35 year old Women (5 person team x2)

    TEAM 8 =     36 and over Black Belt Men (5 person team x2)

    TEAM 9 =     36 and over Black Belt Women (5 person team x2)

Selection events will include -

EXTRA ENGLAND TEAM TRAINING - Sunday 9th May

    In view of the I.T.S. British Champs on 16th May we have confirmed our last England team training session as Sunday 9th May. The times slots for the various teams has changed just slightly, as follows -

12.00 - 1.00pm = Sparring - Teams 6, 7 & 8

1.00 - 2.00pm = Patterns - Teams 1, 2 & 3

2.00 - 3.00pm = Patterns - Teams 4 & 5

3.00 - 4.00pm = Sparring - Teams 9 & 10

The cost is £4.00 per hour per person

Venue = Physique Fitness Gym, Droitwich, WR9 9RB

Please note that the patterns sessions are open to the team members and reserves only though the sparring is open to anyone!

ENGLAND TEAM SELECTION EVENT ANNOUNCED - VERVE UK OPEN - Sunday 1st November 2009

    We are pleased to announce that this years VERVE UK OPEN Championships has been named as one of the main selection events for our 2010 I.T.S. National Squad! The event has been re-structured so as to provide opportunities for all levels and abilities and with the addition of the fun based concept team categories it should be an excellent event for all!

2010 ENGLAND TEAM ANNOUNCED FOR - ENGLAND v SCOTLAND (Feb 13th)

    Following a rigorous selection process, the England squad has been named for the trip to Scotland in February! As I am sure everyone is already aware, Mr Fisher has only currently asked for a '5 Man sparring team' but as our preparations for the British Champs in May are well under way we wanted the teams to be ready if asked to step in!

    Squad training sessions continue in January and funds raised from those sessions will go towards a number of team buses up to the Scotland fight night event. Please note that those who have supported the squad sessions will have first refusal of places on the buses and with over 110 people now involved, seats on the buses are on a 'first come first serve basis' .
